This tape dispenser completely redesigns its typology. Like a tabletop work of architecture, like a factory with its smokestack Naro’s unexpected form stands out against the background: made of mahogany, it is composed of a circular base and a central tower suitable for inserting the roll of tape (horizontally, no longer vertically) and for grasping the object. A small steel portal regulates the passage of the tape and acts as a cutting blade, serrated on its two sides so that the object works equally well with either your right or left hand. Naro is made by La Baita, woodturning workshop by Ivan Brusadelli who is located in San Cassiano Prata Camportaccio, in the province of Sondrio in Lombardy.
