A drinkware set made from a single material, entirely recycled from disposable plastic bottles. It uses a traditional mechanical process (grinding the bottles and processing the flakes) as well as an innovative chemical process: the plastic is reconverted into pyrolysis oil, from which polymers identical to the original ones are obtained. The recycling path is thus reversed, starting from plastic and returning as close as possible to the original petroleum source.
In addition to the environmental benefit of recycling, this system introduces a new approach potentially capable of reconverting the 450 million tons of plastic produced every year worldwide.
The disposable bottle becomes a durable object, made from the same material.
The set consists of a tray, a bottle, and six glasses that, in their design, form a corolla around the central container.
The bottle and glasses occupy the minimum space on the tray, ensuring nothing is wasted, and the bottle neck is wide enough to accommodate ice cubes.
