“Vertigo is nothing but a wooden stave with a deep nostalgia for the sky.”

With Vertigo, the floor emancipates itself from the plane and gains three-dimensionality, reaching upward. The project is built through the interlocking arrangement of curved boards that form modular, customizable compositions. The wood-bending process is carried out entirely by hand. Drawing inspiration from ski manufacturing techniques, and in order to address technical and production challenges, we developed a solution together with Fiemme Tremila that connects floor and wall into a single continuous surface, transcending the traditional concept of boiserie.
